Assessment and Therapies

We provide a comprehensive range of evidence-based therapies for adults. Referrals can be made by the client themselves, by their GP, or by another health care professional.

The sessions can be paid for either through private medical insurance or by self-funding. Each session lasts for one hour and costs £130. 

​

Sessions and assessments can be provided either face-to-face or remotely online.

Assessment

All assessments are carried out by a qualified and experienced Clinical Psychologist. An initial telephone consultation (free of charge) would determine whether an assessment is appropriate. If an assessment is agreed, this would involve a face-to-face interview to gather background information and to fully understand the problem.

 

Following the assessment (normally one or two sessions), a report will be produced for the client which will give an understanding of the problem and a suggested plan of action for helping the person. Every person and their problem is unique and treatment plans will be tailored to the individual.

We treat a wide range of problems from primary care mental health issues, to more severe and chronic difficulties, including:

 

Anxiety problems, such as PTSD, OCD, panic, phobias, health anxiety, social anxiety and low confidence. Depression, mood disorders, eating disorders, bereavement and loss.
